Barry Van Zilen is a seasoned business owner and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience serving the Atlanta metropolitan area through his home remodeling company, B.V. Contracting. Originally from New York, Barry moved to Atlanta in 1991 and founded the company with a commitment to quality workmanship, excellence, and lasting client relationships. Over the years, B.V. Contracting has grown into a successful business, with much of its client base built through word-of-mouth referrals.
Barry is known for his wisdom, strong business sense, leadership, and ability to communicate and work well with others. He brings a practical, steady approach to problem-solving along with genuine compassion for people.
Barry lives in Cumming with his family and is a member and active volunteer at Local Church Canton, where he also serves on the church’s Advisory Committee. He is active in Bible studies and has been a faithful supporter of Local Love Ministry, generously giving both his time and resources to support its mission.
A devoted father of four and grandfather of two, Barry’s life is marked by serving others and generously giving of himself. He values faith, family, service, and meaningful relationships. In his free time, he enjoys working out, cooking for his family, and spending time with those he loves.
