La Nada Green

La Nada Green embodies a lifelong calling to service, shaped by decades of ministry, community leadership, and personal outreach. Organized, compassionate, and deeply committed, she strengthens Local Love Ministry with her extensive administrative background and heart for the elderly.
Born and raised in Griffin, Georgia, La Nada was a lifelong member of Sunny Side United Methodist Church, where she served faithfully in women’s ministry and as Secretary of the Administration Board. Her 33-year career at Delta Air Lines and eight years at the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta refined her organizational and communication skills, which now benefit the ministry’s operations.
La Nada has been active in outreach for decades: coordinating nursing home birthday celebrations, delivering holiday gifts, running a free food pantry, and visiting the homebound. She and her husband Jim also led their church’s Relay for Life efforts for three years, a cause deeply personal after her father’s death from cancer, her own colon cancer diagnosis in 2010, and Jim’s prostate cancer diagnosis in 2023.
Now retired in Ball Ground, Georgia, La Nada serves actively at Local Church Canton, where she coordinates the Coffee Café ministry to foster fellowship and hospitality. Her faith, resilience, and servant leadership mirror the mission of Local Love—to ensure every resident is seen, valued, and deeply loved.
