Michael E. Oleniczak

Michael E. Oleniczak is an experienced pastor, chaplain leader, and former insurance industry professional with a strong background in spiritual care, leadership development, and community outreach. He has served in a variety of ministry roles, including Associate Pastor at Grace Church of the Nazarene and Interim Pastor at Fairway Knolls Church of the Nazarene.
Michael spent several years with Marketplace Chaplains, where he held multiple leadership roles including Chaplain, Chaplain Coach, and Area Team Leader. In these positions, he recruited, trained, and mentored chaplains, led teams across Central Illinois and Indiana and provided spiritual care in both corporate and senior living environments. His leadership included overseeing ministry activities, facilitating training sessions, and supporting organizational operations at the field levels.
Earlier in his ministry, Michael served as Pastor of Outreach Ministries at Bloomington First Church of the Nazarene, where he developed community outreach initiatives, small group ministries, and congregational care programs designed to engage and support both members and the broader community.
In addition to his ministry experience, Michael had a professional background in the insurance industry, serving over 30 years in various sales and marketing positions. During his career he obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor designation. His combined experience in ministry and business provides a unique perspective on leadership, care, and organizational effectiveness.
Michael holds certifications in chaplaincy and end-of-life care, and has completed ministerial studies through the Church of the Nazarene. He is passionate about pastoral care, mentoring leaders, and serving individuals and communities with compassion and purpose.
